I started dabbling in photography while in school. I was a double major in communication and photography but trained with all of the BFA students while I was a generic “BA” student. I was vocal, vibrant and direct. I captured couples, kids, emotions. I loved it so much that I began interning with other well known photographers and attending workshops through out my college career.

I began shooting weddings in 2009 and haven’t stopped since. My approach to wedding photography and my clients is simple: fun. I am a true believer in humor and laughing is medicine in itself. I get to know my couples so they’re like friends to me. I learn about themselves, their families, their pets, they’re favorite foods — I feel this approach really helps my clients relax in front of the camera and capture that natural, raw emotion we all love — happiness, excitement, LOVE!

My clients and I laugh and laugh, whether its at something funny happening or me just being funny in general (I think I was a comedian in my previous life).. bottom line, I love what I do, I love the clients that love my work and I love to build relationships with them.
