It’s recommended that you show your clients appreciation and if you just starting out or starting to get serious, you should at least send a simple handwritten thank-you note. Thank you cards go a long way.

Think of it this way: You get a birthday gift so you send a thank-you card but it’s secondary purpose is to ensure you’ll get another birthday gift the next year.

Not only that, most clients will share that gift from you on their social networks. Free marketing!
